Requirements for Escort Permit:

  • Proof of age; applicants must be at least 21 years old
  • Name and contact information, along with any aliases or stage names
  • Residence history for 3 years
  • Employment history for 3 years
  • Name of the escort bureau employed with
  • Authorization for the police to investigate applicant’s background for moral wholesomeness
  • Any other information requested by the police department

Requirements for Escort Bureau License:

  • Application must be in the name of an individual; no licenses are given to corporations or partnerships
  • All employees’ names and addresses (with proof they are all over 21 years old)
  • Approved fictitious names for business
  • Consent for the police or sheriff’s department to investigate applicant for good moral character
  • Additional information may be required by the County of Los Angeles
